  • How are metal baseball bats?

Metal baseball bats are known for being more durable and long-lasting compared to wooden bats. They are also typically lighter in weight, which can help players generate more bat speed and power when hitting the ball. However, some players argue that metal bats have a different feel and sound compared to wooden bats, which can affect their performance and preference. Ultimately, the choice between metal and wooden bats comes down to personal preference and the specific needs of the player.

  • Quinta Vale D. Maria CV Curriculum Vitae 2018
Quinta Vale D. Maria CV Curriculum Vitae 2018

Cellar for up to 11 years. No need to decant before serving. Cristiano van Zeller purchased the Quinta Vale D. Maria in 1996 after heading up his family’s prestigious Quinta do Noval for many years. Amongst the estate’s gems are 10 hectares of fifty and sixty year old vines which Cristiano and his team have worked to restore as well as planting indigenous varieties on other plots on the estate. Cristiano and his fellow winemaker Sandra Tavares da Silva named this wine after the feeling that this exquisite wine was worthy of being listed on their CVs as a benchmark bottling from the Douro region. The grapes are sourced from the estate’s prime vineyards on the river Torto which are planted with vines more than 80 years old. Following the harvest the grapes are trodden by foot in large stone lagars as is traditional in the region before being vinified. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 21 months before bottling. One of the most sought-after wines from Portugal, the Curriculum Vitae opens with seductive aromas of dark cherries and plums along with sweet baking spice from the oak ageing. On the palate there is a full body, firm tannins and wonderfully concentrated wild berry and cherry jam flavours which linger long on the tongue.

  • Quinta Vale D. Maria CV Curriculum Vitae White 2019
Quinta Vale D. Maria CV Curriculum Vitae White 2019

Drink it now or cellar for up to 10 years. No need to decant. Located in the valley of the Torto river, in the heart of the Douro, Quinta Vale Dona Maria was purchased in 1996 by Cristiano Van Zeller after leaving the family business (Quinta do Noval), to rebuild and replant the vineyards and make his wine. The property extends over 19 hectares, and the vineyard area includes vines with an average age of over 50 years and 28 different grape varieties. Branco Douro 2019 is a blend of native white grape varieties of the Douro, including Rabigato and Viosinho, Samarrinho, Donzelinho Branco, and Códega. The grapes are selected manually in an over 80-year-old vineyard located at an average altitude of 480 meters. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels at a controlled temperature. The wine is then left to age for 8 months in barriques and two years in the bottle before being released on the market. The wine reveals an intense and complex aromatic profile with buttery and intensely fruity aromas of grapefruit and ripe lemon followed by notes of orange peel and flowers. The woody notes linked to the passage in the barrel are perfectly integrated with the fruity aromas. On the palate, the wine is full and creamy, with excellent citrus freshness and ginger notes that enliven everything. The finish is very long, complex, refined, and extremely lively. Ideal to accompany baked fish, light roasted or grilled meats, and a wide selection of cheeses.

  • Are baseball caps actually antisocial?

Baseball caps themselves are not inherently antisocial. However, the way they are worn or used by individuals can sometimes be associated with antisocial behavior. For example, wearing a baseball cap pulled down low over one's eyes or paired with a hood may give off a more closed-off or intimidating vibe. Ultimately, it is the behavior of the individual wearing the baseball cap that determines whether it is perceived as antisocial or not.

  • What recommendations are there for baseball bats?
